Mark has always had the gift of storytelling through his words and music. His songs reflect his life and values, his faith and commitment, and his wonderful sense of humor. He has an amazing ability to use simple words when telling stories about the complexities of life. He is open and honest and shares with the world his greatest blessings and his deepest losses. Mark was born the youngest of nine children in the small town of Spencer Indiana. From the time he began writing his songs, at the age of four, he had a large supportive and loving audience in his family. This young singer/songwriter of country music now makes his home in Derby Kansas . Mark was raised on classic country and gospel music and draws his influence from greats like Lyle Lovett, Hal Ketchum and Don Williams. As an independently touring and recording singer-songwriter, Mark has shared the stage with Nashville stars such as Charlie Pride, Collin Raye, Phil Vassar, Eric Church, and Ty England. He has performed in countless local and regional venues and garnering recognition for his music from competitions and the press. Mark has completed four albums with his most recent,"I Came To Fight" written specifically to give hope to those affected by cancer. The video for the first single "Fly Again" has been viewed in in 108 different countries and Mark has received messages, emails and phone calls of thanks from people around the world for the songs that give them hope. 2016 has been such a great year for Mark. TCU Frogs For The Cure have chosen Fly Again to be featured in their 2016 video. In 2014 they worked with Josh Groban and in 2015 with Luke Wade and Mia Z from the voice. Mark is both excited and humbled for the opportunity. The video will be featured during the halftime show at the TCU/Texas Tech game on October 29th, 2016.
